KS-2A Gyro with 14 Volt Attached Inverter for Steadicam Use
The KS-2 gyro stabilizer with a 14 volt attached inverter has become a very popular solution for Steadicam use. Operators who may already have onboard stabilization find by adding the gyro to their rig offers a little extra help in the axis that is not covered by the electronic stabilization built into the rig. When filming outdoors and in tricky situations where the wind is blowing or other disturbances make it difficult to get good shots, the KS-2 gives you a helping hand.
The photos show the on/off switch that we install in the attached inverter box and also a small 0B 2 pin lemo panel connector so you can use a detachable cable.
Detachable cable sold separately. You chose the length and power connector you need to be able to plug into your onboard power.

The other thing to consider will be where and how you will attach it to the rig. We have multiple solutions we can make. The photo shows a simple Anton Bauer gold mount plate we can make that would attach in place of one of the onboard batteries. Also shown is the post clamp assembly available for purchase.
