The new KS-3 Gyro has a similar force as a KS-4 gyro, but is 4 ounces lighter and the gimbal has 1 extra spring for hard panning. The KS-3 wheel is smaller the KS-4 wheel, leading to being slightly lighter, almost as powerful, but less expensive, due to being easier to machine and the cost of tungsten.
If you already own a KS-2 or a KS-4 gyro and would like to add the KS-3 to your arsenal, the KS-3 can be used with the inverter and battery pack used in either the KS-2 or KS-4 kits. The gyro will come with our standard coil cord and CE approved 3 pin male XLR connector to plug into inverter, but if a different connector style and cable is needed, please contact us.
