This KS-2 has a 12 volt inverter attached to the gyro and was initially designed to keep binoculars steadily on target from a pitching ship.It is ideal for use in remote control applications and can be attached to a pair of binoculars using an adapter. Order the binocular adapter separately using code-KBA in our store price list. Use the 2 wires to attach to a 12 volt battery for a power supply and a 1/4-20 thumbscrew to attach to your camera. At an extra cost, you may use the gyro with one of our batteries. You will need the following - code KPB(battery) and code KGC(Gyro Cord 2' coil). Another option is to use the gyro with a cigarette adapter coil cord (code - KCA) and use your 12 volt power from your car or boat. The gyro weighs 2.2 lbs and adds stabilization of an optical system up to 2 lbs.The gyro, inverter and mounting plate dimension is 5.2 inches high. The gyro itself is 4.8 inches long by 2.8 inches in diameter.
